Admissions to Trinity School

Nondiscriminatory Policy

Trinity School does not discriminate in its admissions and enrollment practices based on race, ethnic background, health condition, socio-economic status, or gender.

The Admission process at TrinitySchool is designed to enable prospective families and the school to base decisions on the best information possible. A careful review of all testing, psychological, medical, and educational records is necessary as a starting point. The admission process itself emphasizes gathering information through personal contact and direct observation. This allows the parent, the student, and school personnel to base decisions on actual experience with one another.

School Tours

Prospective students and families are invited to visit TrinitySchool and participate in a guided tour of our facilities and programs.  We have found that such tours provide opportunities for families to learn more about the daily operations of the school.

All tours are by appointment.  Please call the school 405-478-5476 or email: pfurmanski@trinityschoolokc.org to make an appointment for a tour of the school.

Psycho-educational Diagnostic Testing

New students wishing to enter Trinity School who have not had psycho-educational diagnostic testing within the past three years are required to have such testing.  Testing can be completed by the staff of the Trinity Learning Center, the local public school district or a private consultant.  This testing assesses a student in the areas of cognitive ability , diagnostic achievement and language, and provides the school with information useful in helping the student find success at Trinity School.

Diagnostic testing is administered at the Trinity Learning Center by appointment during school hours or on Saturdays throughout the year.  Please call for reservations 405-478-5476 or email: pfurmanski@trinityschoolokc.org .  The Trinity Learning Center is located in the main school building.

Open House

Trinity School has an open house on the first Thursday of February.  This event is open to the general public as well as our current families and students.  Times for this event are 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm.  The night’s activities will begin in the Haddock Center Gym with a brief presentation about the school.  Following the presentation, classrooms will be open and teachers available to answer any questions.  Refreshments will also be available.
