Mrs. Jones’ Class
April 23-27
This week we have a busy week of testing. I know that for some of the students it is a VERY STRESSFUL time. Please remember to have your child get to bed early, eat a good breakfast, have a calm morning, and to come prepared with healthy snacks, no junk food. Please encourage your child to NOT read ahead, to not rush through the test, and to take the time to think about the answers they are putting down.
I go through all of this with them, but many times it falls on deaf ears. I know that they lose focus, get bored, and many times give up because it is hard. Please encourage them to do their best work.
There will be no homework for the rest of the week…..other than 20 minutes of reading.
I hope you enjoyed the program.
I am trying to prepare your child for success not only for this year, but as they prepare for upper school. I know that transition can be difficult and I work very hard to help make that transition as easy as possible. Going from childhood to TEENAGER is scary and exciting, but requires much hard work. Thank you for all of your help and support. jjones@trinityschoolokc.org
