Mackenzie joined the Trinity team in the summer of 2021 as our Chef & Head of Child Nutrition.
She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations from the University of Oklahoma where she walked on the Track and Field team.
Upon graduating, she joined the 4HIM Healing Hands nonprofit where she ministered to children and young adults in Togo and Sierra Leone, West Africa; working in two children’s orphanages.
Mackenzie became the second female to complete the three-year culinary apprenticeship at The Coach House in Oklahoma City. Mackenzie has spent 10 years in the restaurant industry learning various roles. First, as menu developer/Executive Chef for Coolgreens in Nichols Hills, OK. Then she moved on to Washington D.C. to work at Komi Restaurant, which now is a Michelin Star restaurant. She then moved to Boulder, Colorado where she worked at Meadowlark Farm Dinners, working out of a school bus-turned 5-star kitchen. Mackenzie then moved back to OKC where she became Executive Chef at The Lobby Bar and Tasting Room and eventually became the Chef de Cuisine at The Jones Assembly.
While being back in Oklahoma, Mackenzie has worked in the oil and gas Industry, sales and as a private chef/caterer for five-years. During the time back, she coached a girls basketball team for two years. Most recently she has pursued her love for painting and is currently the prayer pastor at The Table OKC.
She loves nature and adventure, hot yoga, cooking for friends and family, reading, writing, learning new things, her dog Luna, and is about to be an aunt for the first time.
